Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends of St. Cecilia,
We have seen so many images of Christ in the good deeds of our SCS students this year!  As a school family we have performed numerous works of mercy – from feeding the hungry to visiting the sick – we have come together to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and become disciples of Christ.  We continue to maintain that religion is our number #1 subject at SCS, but we must also be competitive in the academic arena as well.  In order to achieve this, we ask that you prayerfully consider a gift to our 2018 Annual Appeal.  Your support will be used in the following manner:
50% of your contribution will be used to complete our infrastructure needed to see our mobile Chromebook lab project come to fruition.   We have seen tremendous advances in our learning environment due to acquisition of two class sets of Chromebrooks in Junior High ELA classrooms.  Junior High English Language Arts teacher, Mrs. Andrea Hebert shares,
“Having access to Chromebooks every day has provided me the opportunity to modernize my teaching in ELA, which has been more than beneficial for my students. As true 21st century learners, working on the Chromebooks gives them the tools they will need for their future, all while ensuring they master the reading and writing expectations. From writing essays to researching topics and creating projects, the Chromebooks have proven to be an invaluable asset to my class.”
30% of your offering will benefit the faculty and staff. We have an awe-inspiring team of men and women educating our young people.  These individuals choose to be a part of our St. Cecilia family, even though the average starting salary is well below that of the Lafayette Parish Public School System.
20% of the assistance that you provide will be restricted to the St. Cecilia School Foundation.  This fund ensures that our school will continue to operate in the future, allowing the opportunity of a St. Cecilia education to students for years to come.

Thank you, in advance, for being a vital part of our 2018 Annual Appeal.
