Empowering Bluejay dads through faith, service, and brotherhood

The Bluejay Dads group is a new initiative at St. Cecilia School designed to connect, inspire, and equip fathers in our community. Guided by our mission—Empowering Bluejay dads through faith, service, and brotherhood—we aim to strengthen not only our own families, but also the greater SCS community.

Through shared experiences, acts of service, and a commitment to faith, we foster friendships, provide support, and model Christian leadership for our children.

What We Do
Each quarter, Bluejay Dads will gather for opportunities focused on our three pillars:

Faith – Join in prayer, reflection, and faith-building activities that draw us closer to God and to one another.

Service – Make a difference through volunteer projects that benefit our school, parish, and community.

Brotherhood – Build lasting friendships and a strong network of dads walking the same journey of faith and fatherhood.

Strength in Brotherhood

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17

At the heart of Bluejay Dads is the belief that we are better together. Just as iron sharpens iron, fathers can strengthen, encourage, and challenge one another to grow in faith and character. By gathering as brothers in Christ, we not only sharpen each other’s faith but also become better leaders, husbands, and fathers—leaving a lasting impact on our families and the SCS community.
