    On April 9, 2025, our school community gathered on the front lawn to mark this exciting milestone in our 116-year legacy of faith, learning, and service.

    With heartfelt remarks from Principal Erin Henry, a blessing from Bishop Deshotel, and prayers led by Fr. Michael Delcambre, the ceremony celebrated not just the start of construction — but the beginning of even greater things ahead.

    Shovels were turned by student representatives, school and parish leadership, diocesan officials, and members of our Capital Campaign and Building Committees — a powerful symbol of the unity and dedication that made this project possible.

    Special thanks to Angelle Architects, LLC and ARL Construction, Inc. for helping us bring this vision to life.

Fri-YAY = SPIRIT DAY

Unless specifically designated otherwise, each Friday is Spirit Day at St. Cecilia School. Students may choose to wear a current year spirit t-shirt (available on the Action Specialties Store) or House shirt with regular uniform shorts, slacks, or skirts. Students choosing not to wear a spirit shirt must wear the approved uniform shirt on Fridays.

We are currently working on a dri fit option for House Shirts and will announce it when it is available on the spirit shop site.

Spirit shirts and house shirts are available on our Action Specialties store!
