Fundraising Events
At St. Cecilia School, our community comes together each year to support our mission through our biggest fundraising events. These signature events not only help provide vital resources for our school, but also bring students, families, and friends together for fun, tradition, and Bluejay spirit. From giving appeals and colorful runs to family festivals and spring celebrations, each event is an opportunity to celebrate our community while supporting the future of St. Cecilia School.

5 Days for Bluejays & Color Run
5 Days for Bluejays is our annual giving appeal supporting the St. Cecilia Fund, the cornerstone of our school’s Advancement efforts. For five focused days each fall, our families are encouraged to make a gift or pledge in support of St. Cecilia School.
When 75% of families participate, every student earns the opportunity to take part in our joyful, school-wide Color Run, held on the Thursday before Fall Break—a colorful celebration of community, generosity, and Bluejay spirit.

Broussard Community Fair
The Broussard Community Fair is a cherished tradition co-hosted with Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, recently celebrating its 101st year. This beloved two-day event brings together generations for rides, delicious food, confetti eggs, and all the classic traditions that make Broussard feel like home.
Held annually the weekend before Thanksgiving, the fair kicks off on Friday night with a special Pageant featuring performances by the students of St. Cecilia School. The celebration continues Saturday and Sunday with family fun, community fellowship, and a festive 5K run.

Bluejay Bash
Bluejay Bash is our springtime celebration for the whole family, combining friendly competition, fun, and community spirit. The day features a golf tournament, a Cajun over rice cook-off, and a full Family Fun Day.
Kids can enjoy the Nest, our dedicated kid zone, while parents and families participate in the day’s activities. Bluejay Bash is a lively event designed to bring together students, families, and friends to celebrate our school community.
