On April 9, 2025, our school community gathered on the front lawn to mark this exciting milestone in our 116-year legacy of faith, learning, and service.

With heartfelt remarks from Principal Erin Henry, a blessing from Bishop Deshotel, and prayers led by Fr. Michael Delcambre, the ceremony celebrated not just the start of construction — but the beginning of even greater things ahead.

Shovels were turned by student representatives, school and parish leadership, diocesan officials, and members of our Capital Campaign and Building Committees — a powerful symbol of the unity and dedication that made this project possible.

Special thanks to Angelle Architects, LLC and ARL Construction, Inc. for helping us bring this vision to life.

Morning and After Care Procedures

August 25, 2024
By SCS Bluejays

Parents, please be reminded that when dropping off for morning care, vehicles may not be parked in the right drive through lane.

  • If walking your student(s) to the cafeteria, please park to bring them to the cafeteria door. We know some of our youngest students may be a little anxious in the mornings, but it is best to part ways at the door and begin the transition quickly. Our staff is there to help with this.
  • In the afternoons, when picking students up, adults are not allowed to go to teachers’ classrooms for the safety of all students and staff. There is a standard entrance we use to bring your child to you. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Dorothy at asc@scsbluejays.org.  Thank you for your cooperation.
