Bluejay Cheerleading

Cheerleading at St. Cecilia School is an important part of our school spirit and community. Open to girls in grades 6–8, this year-round program gives students the opportunity to lead with energy, enthusiasm, and Bluejay pride.
Our cheerleaders are the heart of school spirit, bringing excitement and encouragement to football, volleyball, and basketball games throughout the year. Their dedication not only supports our athletes on the court and field but also helps foster pride, unity, and a positive atmosphere across the entire SCS community.
Beyond game days, our cheerleaders also play a special role in leading school-wide spirit at House Assemblies, where their energy and encouragement bring the whole student body together. To prepare for the year ahead, the team also attends a summer cheer camp, sharpening their skills, learning new routines, and building strong bonds as a team.
Tryouts are held each spring to form the team for the following school year, ensuring a spirited group of students is ready to represent St. Cecilia.
More than just a sport, cheerleading at SCS is about teamwork, leadership, and creating an uplifting presence that inspires both athletes and fans alike.
