Bluejay Volleyball
Volleyball at St. Cecilia School is a proud tradition of teamwork, dedication, and athletic excellence. Open to girls in grades 5–8 each fall, our program provides a strong foundation for athletes to develop their skills, grow in confidence, and compete at a high level.
Our Bluejays have celebrated impressive success on the court, with championship titles across multiple grade levels. From 2020 through 2023, our 5th, 6th, and 7th-grade teams earned victories that showcase both the talent of our athletes and the commitment of our coaches. Most recently, our 5th Grade White Volleyball Team earned recognition as the Christian School League Division I Runner-Up in 2024, another proud moment in our program’s history.
The impact of SCS volleyball extends well beyond middle school. Many of our alumni have gone on to shine at the high school and collegiate levels. Notably, Bluejay alumna AC Froehlich earned back-to-back honors as Louisiana Division II Player of the Year (2021 & 2022) and was named the 2022 Gatorade Player of the Year. Other standout alumni include Paige Guidry, who continued her career at the University of Louisiana, and Mollie Webre, who went on to play at Nicholls.
Our volleyball program is more than a sport—it’s a community that fosters growth, builds character, and inspires our athletes to soar, both on and off the court.
